About Me
Sparkle Fashionista (formerly) is now VRAG — a blog where I share my innermost thoughts about everything around me.
Some of you may wonder why there is a name change. Well, a friend suggested it, and it defines me in two ways. VRAG stands for my name after marriage, but also represents Vigorous, Radiant & Glowing — qualities that define me and my blog posts.

About the Founder
Hello, I’m Varsha! A typical Puneri girl who loves exploring new places, discovering new things, trying out food joints, indulging in yummy desserts, and munching on anything delicious.
Born and brought up in Pune, I am now settled along the beautiful coastlines of India — yes, everyone’s favourite destination, Konkan! Sindhudurg is truly blessed with some of the finest beaches in the country, making it the perfect weekend getaway from Mumbai or Pune. With its blend of nature, adventure, and tranquillity, the Konkan coast is a delight — and the cleanliness of its beaches is truly a sight to behold. I started this blog to share knowledge and experiences with others. I still recall my office days when trainees and colleagues would often compliment me on my outfits, footwear, or accessories. That constant encouragement planted the seed for starting my blog.
I’ve always loved experimenting with new things, whether it’s checking the ingredients in packaged food or exploring the details of a cosmetic product. I also enjoy discovering new places and experiences.
A Little About Me
- I’ve been the most talkative one since my school days. My report cards almost always carried the same remark — ‘Talkative’.
- I had always dreamed of pursuing a career in fashion and went on to complete an Advanced Diploma in Fashion Designing from INIFD. Convincing my parents wasn’t easy, but I made sure to showcase my creative side and demonstrate my passion for styling clothes. With time, I completed the course and gained valuable knowledge about colours, patterns, trends, fabrics, and more. I didn’t choose to start a boutique or a high-end store, but I did enjoy sharing styling tips with my friends and colleagues.
- Initially, I found myself constantly communicating and guiding others on dress etiquette. This naturally grew into being everyone’s ‘personal shopper friend.’ Whenever someone was confused about shopping, they would reach out to me. I realised that sharing knowledge and styling tips gave me far more joy than stitching clothes (yes, you read that right — stitching isn’t my forte). My motto has always been: ‘Being different is being alive!’
- I’m also a dog lover at heart and have loved feeding stray dogs and kittens since childhood.
- Dance has always been my happy place. Not many people know this, but I cleared an exam in Bharatnatyam during school — though at that time, I didn’t realise its importance, and I still regret giving it up. Later, I even learned belly dancing for four months. Even today, I find myself dancing when I’m alone.
- I have learnt belly dance for four months. I still dance at home :p
- And yes, I love clicking pictures!
Behind the Screen
When I’m not blogging, I’m usually online planning new ideas or expanding my knowledge in different fields. I enjoy listening to music and still love watching cartoon series with my sister. My curiosity has always been at its peak — whether it’s researching skincare and haircare options, experimenting with new products, or trying out different cuisines.
I believe change is constant, and as the saying goes, change makes life beautiful. I adapt easily to my surroundings, and that ability to adjust makes me different. I’m excited to share excellent reviews and experiences here on this beautiful platform.
Much love 🙂 Follow me here for all the latest updates.
