My Experience with Plum Coconut Milk Shampoo

Let’s deep dive into my experience with this product. Before we begin, I need to mention that I have an oily scalp and normal/dry hair ends that can be quite unpredictable, depending on the weather. Living in a coastal area with high humidity, my hair tends to become oily very quickly, even just a day after washing it. I’m not a fan of the greasy feeling, and daily showers aren’t practical for me. I needed a shampoo that would nourish my hair without weighing it down.

Plum Coconut Milk Shampoo Review
I use this conditioner.

Plum Goodness Coconut Milk Shampoo was a good choice for me. It effectively enhances shine and strengthens hair. The coconut extracts provide smoothing and hydrating properties. I love the runny milky texture and it is quite effortless to apply to my hair. I’ve asked Nitin to use this and he has dry hair so it works best for him as well.

I love the nourishing frizz-free effect it has on my hair every day. The shine remains intact for 2 days or more as per the weather. The weather makes my scalp oily here but I guess that’s how I embrace the natural state of my hair. I feel using additional products is not always feasible for elaborate haircare routines. You can try the shampoo with the same variant of conditioner for remarkable results. I have ordered it too but have kept it at my Pune house and haven’t used much to gauge the efficacy.

However, I did encounter a few things. For the initial months, it worked well but unfortunately, it caused hair fall for me. While my scalp was cleansed well, I still noticed dry dandruff. I’m still trying to figure out why this happened, as don’t use other hair products besides this shampoo and an occasional Salisia KT shampoo (recommended by my dermatologist). I don’t mind using it occasionally for my hair till I resolve my existing hair fall condition.

If you’re okay with SLES, I recommend giving Plum Goodness Coconut Milk Shampoo a try. It might work wonders for your hair. Although 100% vegan and cruelty-free the Plum coconut shampoo contains SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) but does not contain any parabens.
