Minimal makeup is perfect for every occasion. Especially if you are always on the go or a busy mom who hardly has any time to do makeup. I’ve compiled my favorite makeup product in this post that helps you save time and money. If you know me, I hardly do any makeup but if I do it is usually a quick one. Get set go and rock your special day with these affordable Valentine’s makeup products. I’ve compiled some of my favorites so keep your eyes glued till the end.

3 in 1 Oil-Free Makeup Primer

Insight Cosmetics is a well-known Indian brand. I’ve used this twice and loved it. Although, will use it more to write a detailed review and my experience on this one. A gem for sure as it is waterproof, oil-free, long-lasting, non-comedogenic. If you are acne-prone or have sensitive skin please do a patch test before use. I love the gel texture and blends quite effortlessly into the skin. Insight cosmetics products have no Alcohol, Paraben, Dye, Sulfate, Odor, and are 100% vegetarian.

Foundation

This one is my wishlist foundation. I’ve used their L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation. The above-mentioned foundation by L’Oreal Paris is in a higher range but if you love makeup or want to start your own makeup stash begin with this one for sure. They are available in 11 shades. I’ve seen many of my fellow bloggers rave about this one. It is transfer-proof, waterproof, and sweatproof too. The pricing is okay but ordering something which won’t be used often is what stops me from purchasing it.

Compact Powder

Compact Powder is used to absorb the oily appearance. It helps to make the skin look natural. I used this one recently. Slightly high in range but a good brand, blends easily, and is quick to apply as it is super fine in texture. My heart goes to the previous one by Maybelline. Hands down the best compact powder!

It is absolutely the best option! Works perfect for my skin type as it is not cakey and non-comedogenic. After a few hours, one can touch up with this compact, and works really well! It has Perlite Mineral Technology that helps to absorb oil and add a matte effect to the skin. L’Oreal one is 9gms for Rs. 725 and the Maybelline one is 8.5gms for Rs. 549 (Amazon usually has offers so pick during the sale period).

Lipsticks

In the past, lipsticks scared the hell out of me! I have fuller/big lips and it makes me feel uncomfortable applying lipstick. But I’ve gone too far and accepted this fact and all myself. Embracing all the flaws with our perfections help us to lead a better life! I came across Earth Rhythm Puck It Tinted Lippie and what a stunning hot pink shade that will suit almost all skin types. They have 6 shades, pick as per your choice. Omg, the tint is so so gorgeous and it leaves a nice tint on the lips too. I used it for my daughter’s Bornahan Ceremony. I’m glad to purchase it, what a lovely shade and the color is buildable. I felt it is quite pigmented too. The texture and application are like a lip balm tub. I wish this one comes with lipstick-like packaging!

Review for this one with swatches will come soon. The tinted lippie has SPF 30, which helps with lip nourishment, prevents dryness. For dry lips, scrub a little with fine sugar or just plain water, apply a lip balm, keep it for 5 mins and you can wipe it off or keep it and apply the Tinted Lippie as a final step.

Flaky or crumbly lipsticks are a total turn-off! If you are a lipstick lover this shade my Maybelline – Shade Sensationally Me is quite subtle, flirty, yet sexy. Looks gorgeous on all skin types.

Eye Shadow

I’ve come to the conclusion eyeshadow palettes are not for me. If you don’t do makeup and are mostly home try this one by Nykaa. The color is lovely and it blends like magic on the eyes. It is non-sticky, glides well on the eyes. This is a nice nude but gives that hint of copper and is good for any function or party. This will save time and give that much-needed glam to your face. If you are fond of makeup try this affordable eyeshadow palette.

Makeup Remover

Before you hit the bed, it is always good to remove makeup well and cleanse your face. This helps the skin to breathe. I love my latest purchase from Earth Rhythm. It is worth every penny. If you have friends and siblings gift the too as this is a pack of 4. Super-versatile and works for all skin types. It can be used to remove makeup, clean brushes, etc. It is reusable and eco-conscious. I used micellar water but warm water can be used to remove the makeup too.
