Have you become the person you wanted to be? This is a very interesting prompt shared by the Blogchatter Team. ‘This post is a part of the Blogchatter Half Marathon’. Check out my 7th blog for the challenge. Like everyone else, I have had many experiences and learned a lot. I will not write a long post about this, but I will share a little about my professional and personal life before and after marriage.

Although I chose no theme but wanted to write all about skincare. I’m lagging and hence the prompts came to my rescue and will write on some interesting prompts.

I come from a military and police background. I never planned to follow in their footsteps and always wanted to do something different. I worked as an Online Business Analyst. After a lot of hard work, I was promoted to Process Trainer for Yelp India Delivery Centre. This was the best time of my life – I was learning and improving my communication and knowledge from my superiors and our international clients. Then, my life took a turn when I got married.

Getting married was a big change for me as I had to move from a big city to a coastal state in India. I had to start everything from scratch. Without any friends or family nearby, I had to adjust to the new environment and community. I often wondered what I should do with my life. Where should I work?

With all the life experiences I’ve gained, I’m now at a point where I can freely express my thoughts on my own platform (like a blog or social media). I’m constantly keeping up with the latest trends in my field. If you had asked me eight years ago, I would have said that I was still trying to figure out who I wanted to be. Today, I wouldn’t say that I’m completely there yet, as I’m still working on my current situation.

I somehow love both sectors. Being an OBA and trainer helped me acquire valuable knowledge. I applied these skills to establish myself and conduct research on skincare, which became my primary genre in the blogging world. Some things I’m constantly working on to become the person I want to be such as calming my overthinking mind and meditating more. I feel like I still need to reach a higher level of calmness in life. I also need to add some more milestones to my blogging journey.

Overall, I’m happy with where I am in life. I’m happy with the person I’ve become if I think about the whole journey from Pune to Sindhudurg. I just want to keep learning and growing.

Have you become the person you wanted to be? Did you reach that level yet?
