My Netflix Favorite Shows of 2024

I love Netflix. I don’t binge-watch, but yes, I do have personal favorites. These are my Netflix favorite shows of 2024. They have some great sitcoms, series, and movies. I’m sure many of you might have seen them already, but this is handy for your future watchlist if you haven’t.

Monk – I’m currently addicted to this. If you are into crime and detective, this show is just for you. Tony Shalhoub is magical on-screen as he has OCD so you get a hint of comedy with crime-solving drama.
Emily in Paris – If you are into all things fashion and Paris then watch this show. Women-oriented show where Emily lands in Paris for her dream job. The constant struggle to fit in the office, get to know the Paris streets and learn French. They have covered it all.
Gilmore Girls – The mother-daughter duo series is lovely. Their bond is inseparable. It is a family comedy-drama. The mother is a hotel manager and juggles to give her 100% at a professional and personal level. I love how in the end they resolve everything and have each other back.
Young Sheldon – It is a family watch. Sheldon is a high-school genius with a great story and struggles to fit in the school and the family. I love his curious nature and awkward situations.
The Good Place – This is an interesting fantasy series that will keep one hooked. I won’t add much here about it as it is quite a unique show and perfect to watch with your friends or family.
Chesapeake Shores – If there is one ultimate family show from the list, it would be this undoubtedly. I haven’t seen the whole show but I binge-watched a few seasons. I love how they show varying situations in real life but the family support stays constant.
Glamorous – This one is surprisingly short from the list but truly a good comedy show with a hint of fashion in every episode. It is about a queer charming and confident influencer who works and turns the table for a legendary makeup brand. I wish this had a few seasons 🙂
My Life with the Walter Boys – It is a show about how a teenager has to leave her life in a big city and shift to a small town. She has to adjust to the family and the overall environment there. I love the characters and the plot and I guess the second season will be up on Netflix in 2025.
Northern Rescue – A Canadian drama series about family. It’s about a search and rescue commander and his 3 kids. They shift to a rural place and struggle to adjust to the new locality. I love the compelling story and the characters have portrayed it well.
Schitt’s Creek – This has to be my favorite sitcom. The comedy, characters, the story everything is just so perfect. You need to watch this and fall in love with the show and characters.
