This is essential and will benefit in the long run as the body goes through vast hormonal changes. If your loved one is pregnant do take some time to read this post till the end. I’m sure you will love reading this one. I recently came across Deyga Organics Pregnancy Care Combo which is also called their Pregnancy Care Kit.
All about Deyga Organics
Arthi Raguram is the face behind the brand Deyga Organics. They offer cruelty-free and sustainable products. All these are handcrafted with pure love and dedication. These are mostly unisex and they even have baby care products.
I received a few products for use and I’m regularly using them in my routine. At the same time, I’ve recently started the Pregnancy section and sharing all things close to my heart. My real-life experiences are covered under this section.
I received the Pregnancy Kit and below are the products. The pregnancy care combo is priced at Rs. 2,100 and currently on sale, priced at Rs. 1,850
Unscented Body Butter: Ingredients – Organic Shea Butter, Virgin Coconut Oil, Virgin Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil. Luckily, I had no issues like dry skin but pregnancy comes with stretch marks and itchy skin. Dry skin is super common these days and even a drawback as post-partum. This one in particular is a little grainy in texture but non-abrasive. It melts in your palm and absorbs in a few minutes. The body butter has a rich nutty scent due to the presence of shea butter in it, it is best for a pregnancy skincare regime. The scent isn’t overpowering so again the best choice for pregnant women. If you are someone with dry skin this body butter is just for you. I use it for my lower abdomen, thigh, legs as these areas tend to be dry.
Rejuvenating Massage Oil: Ingredients – Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Olive Oil, Grapeseed oil, Neroli Essential Oil, Pomegranate Seed Oil, and Lavender Essential Oil. I personally prefer non-sticky and light oils. This absorbs and sinks into the skin effortlessly. I have used it twice and loved the sweet notes of the EO to this one. Massage this well and wait for some time. As a final step, wash it off with a mild scrub and soap. I tried the below body exfoliator. You can just wash it with plain soap water or body wash. It works as natural pregnancy skincare option.
Face & Body Exfoliator: Ingredients – Marjoram, Neem, Khus Khus, Lemon, Matcha leaf, Lemon, Black rice. Marjoram is high in antioxidants. Gentle Exfoliation with Vetiver/Khus makes it excellent for dead skin issues. This product is super gentle in terms of exfoliator. A slight breeze of earthy fragrance lingers once you apply it to the body. I’ve not used any De-Tan scrub or oil on my body for the last few months. The moment I used this I could see a little glow on my feet as they look dull at times.
Foot Butter: Ingredients – Coconut Butter, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Beeswax, Vitamin E Oil, Coconut Oil, Skin Cherishing EO.This product has to be my favorite from the kit. The fragrance is prominent in coconut butter/coconut fragrance oil. It takes you to a whole new level. I love desserts and this reminds me of something like coconut or vanilla cake 🙂 The only con would be applying this late night and craving for a dessert. It claims to heal and help with cracked feet issues. I don’t pay much attention when it comes to foot care. Postpartum taught me a lot of things and this includes taking utmost care of our feet.
The initial application makes me feel heavy and a little sticky due to the presence of butter and oils in it. Give this a minute to absorb and put on your socks or sleep with it. I literally woke up with moisturized feet. This is going to be my purchase for my parents as well.
Chocolate Lip Balm: Ingredients – Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Cold-Pressed Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter. I love anything sweet and especially chocolates. I hate overpowering scented lip balms or heavy ones, especially during nighttime. This has a subtle chocolate scent to it. Almost nude or light color, it can be used as a base before lipstick application as well. I love the fact that the lip balm is perfect in texture and super light.
All these products are good and make the best gifts for mom-to-be or nursing moms. It is necessary to include some natural pregnancy skincare products during this phase. The only con I felt was the ingredient list, instead of skin cherishing EO the exact EO should be mentioned for clarity and transparency. Also on a side note, do not expect instant results, every chemical-free product takes time. Every skin/body is different, hence a patch test is always recommended.
A big thumbs up for curating such a well-thought Pregnancy Care Combo for Moms. It is the perfect gift for mom-to-be. I now have their soaps and lip scrubs on my wish list 😛 Did you try any of the above products?
