I personally love South Indian Food. In Sindhudurg, Dosa or Crepe Dosa is a must-have dish in every household. I always felt anything that requires patience isn’t my job. I proved myself and tried my hands on it. The regular ones mustΒ be fermented however these are instant. I’m sharing my favorite recipe which I tried recently and it was yummiest.

Ingredients – 2 cups wheat flour and rice flour, salt, 1 cup semolina/rava, chopped onions, coriander, and chilies.

Optional ingredients – Half cup poha and curd. This adds a different unique texture and taste, pohe can be kept in water for 30mins and add with the mixture to the grinder.

Mix everything well and make sure this is a runny batter. If one adds no pohe all other ingredients can be added to make instant Dosa and no need to grind it.

Use an iron cast or nonstick pan to make these. Brush some oil or take half cut onion dip in oil and brush this on the pan. Mom and MIL does this and it’s the authentic way to add oil. Take a big scoop spoon or bowl and add some batter to the pan. Fry one side and another one if you want to cover it with a lid and serve hot with a chutney. It tastes the best with tea πŸ™‚
