I love cooking and trying out different cuisines every time I visit a new place or cafe in any area. We have been doing WFH for the last 4+ yrs and thoroughly enjoy the overall process. I have no house help and manage all home errands with blogs as well. I’m lucky that Nitin helps me when required. I tried making the famous masala peanuts at home and they turned out super yummy. This recipe is quick and super delicious. One can relish this for evening or that random hunger pangs.
Ingredients – Peanuts, Rice Flour, Chat Masala or Amchur Masala, Gram Flour, Turmeric, Red Chilli Powder, Jeera Powder, Coriander Powder, Baking Soda (Optional), and Salt.
Procedure – Add a cup of peanuts (if you prefer peeled you can try it too) to a bowl, 1 tbsp rice flour, 2 tbsp gram flour, 1 or 2 tbsp red chili powder, 1 tsp amchur powder, and turmeric, jeera powder, coriander powder, baking soda, salt as per taste. The above ingredients can be adjusted as per taste. Add little water and mix it well. Keep it aside for 15 – 20 mins
Time to fry the peanuts. Sprinkle some chaat masala or amchur powder and mix it well. Allow this to cool and store in an air-tight container. I would not say store as it finishes off in no time :p Surprise your loved ones and kids today with masala peanuts.
Do let me know if you ever try this or tag me on Instagram Stories.

Masala Peanuts are our favourite snack. We have them with us on our travels too, as they are packed with proteins too. Homemade ones are always preferable and this is a nice and easy recipe to make.

This is a great recipe specially in the time of Corona when one wants to venture out less. Looks like the groundnuts came out really well and crispy. Seems they were spicy as well. I am going to try this recipe soon.
