This #blogpost is a part of Blogchatter’s #BlogchatterWrapParty. I’ve chosen this amazing prompt “Summarize 2024 in 6 words.” These 6 words reflect how 2024 helped shape me into a strong individual.
2024 was a good year! Although it wasn’t like I visualized, everything happens for a reason. Every year holds a special place in my heart. It comes with different life lessons and surprises and helps me learn and unlearn things. Iβm glad to embrace these changes like every other individual. What makes it more interesting is being alone and self-reflection. I always wished to make friends and hang out. But it is impossible with a toddler and nuclear family where we are always WFH. I love to freelance and take part-time and full-time opportunities. The work is done all at home in the presence of my toddler. It’s all juggling, but that’s the main drawback of being in a nuclear family.Β
I do regret not having friends here but at the same time, I never miss a chance to meet my precious friends when I visit Pune. Anyway, let’s stick to the main topic.
- Family – Due to limited freelance opportunities, I’ve been through different phases of life. Things were not going as I thought, but that’s what life is all about. π I feel so good that my family stood rock solid during these days to check on me and help me cope mentally. I was drained but never lost hope for a miracle.
- Patience – I learned a big lesson about how things work if I try to remain patient. Being helpless is worse, but I had to divert my attention to stay present and appreciate the other good things in my life.
- Consistency – Consistency is the only thing that will help us sail through every difficult phase. For example – I had lost hope but I never stopped writing here or posting product reviews on Instagram.
- Acceptance – I accepted all things happen for a reason and started feeling light. I feel half of things are resolved when we concentrate on all the good stuff around us. This helps to calm and act for the upcoming challenges and surprises.
- Miracles – I believe in miracles and December surprised me.
- Relief – Was struggling to start something but ended up doing something else. I’m quite relieved that I have something of my own today.
