I’m a clay mask girlie 🙂 Bdw, if you have oily and sensitive skin like mine, you know the daily struggle – greasy T-zones, unexpected whiteheads, and that constant dullness that won’t go away. I’ve done it all, from mixing dry clay powder to making ready-made face masks. Sonali recommended this one, and I fell in love with it more than my favourite Plum Face Mask. That’s when I decided to give The Derma Co Clay Mask a try. Spoiler: it’s been a total skin saviour!
The brand claims it Clears Acne, Unclogs Pores, & Controls Oil.

First Impressions
The texture is smooth yet creamy and lightweight, unlike traditional clay masks, which can be thick or dry. It spreads evenly and provides a mild cooling sensation when applied, soothing and tingling slightly during the first few uses. Over time, the skin gradually becomes accustomed to the clay mask.
Key Ingredients
What I love most about The Derma Co Clay Mask is the Kaolin Clay – the perfect ingredient for oily skin.
Kaolin Clay – Gently absorbs excess oil and purifies pores without over-drying. Perfect for oily and combination skin.
2% Salicylic Acid – Gently exfoliates and unclogs pores from within. This is the hero ingredient for anyone dealing with whiteheads, blackheads, or acne.
Activated Charcoal – It deep cleans impurities and removes buildup that causes whiteheads.
Together, these ingredients make it one of the most effective clay masks for oily skin and whiteheads available in India.
Please note: If you are sensitive to any of the ingredients, perform a patch test first. The face mask should be used once or twice a week, depending on your skin type and needs. I use it once a week or every 15 days, depending on my work schedule. The mask contains 2% salicylic acid; hence, over-exfoliation can compromise the skin barrier.
My Experience with The Derma Co Clay Mask
I’ve been using The Derma Co Clay Mask for quite some time now and have finally replaced it with my favourite Plum Clay Mask. My skin instantly feels clean and smooth. I have recently started using this in my double-cleansing routine, and it works effectively. I use this a day before any special occasion. I love how it instantly adds that mattifying effect without drying my face. My skin feels nice and balanced. I love face masks that help me soothe my skin without any inflammation. It did help me reduce my whiteheads, which is a win-win situation for me 🙂
The best part about The Derma Co. Clay Mask is that there’s no tight or stretchy feeling after washing. My skin feels refreshed and comfortable. The best time to use this is when you are back home after a tiring day at work, to remove all the dirt and grime from your face before your night skincare routine.

Final Thoughts
The Derma Co Clay Mask is a must-have for your skincare routine if you have extremely oily skin, clogged pores, or are tired of dealing with blackheads/whiteheads. For me, it’s now my go-to clay mask for oily and sensitive skin. It is like a cute mini facial in a jar, and quite reasonably priced.
What is your favourite face mask? Have you tried The Derma Co Clay Mask, and if so, what was your overall experience like?
