A small yet famous restaurant located in Kudal. This is well-known as Bhavojinchi Khanaval. People from Mumbai, Kolhapur, Goa, Pune visit this for authentic Malvani cuisine. Despite being in the heart of the city, it is almost 2 to 3 km from NH66. Bhavojinchi Khanaval is flooded with foodies from around India. The food is scrumptious and worth every penny. I’ve had food twice here and can vouch for the taste! Go try their chicken or mutton thali and thank me later 🙂

Hotel Sadichha

Sadichha needs no introduction! A place for seafood lovers. At times, we even get fish curry and 50 bucks are enough curry for both lunch and dinner. This place serves everything authentic and you will keep coming back again for sure! The owner is no more but his son take care of the restaurant and the place is mostly crowded for lunch, especially during Wednesday, Friday, Sunday! Owned by the Tanawade family this place is always full of people! The quantity and quality are worth every penny. This is one of the best Malvani Restaurants in Kudal, Sindhudurg.

Hotel Sanman

Address – Shriramwadi, Mumbai – Goa Hwy, near Raaj Hotel, Kudal, Maharashtra 416520

Sanman is located on NH66. It is perfectly accessible by the crowd from Kolhapur or people who travel to Goa via the Gaganbawda Ghat. Mr. Kunal Kocharekar owns this restaurant. The place is homely and warm. Mr. Pramod Hadkar, the manager is the best when it comes to hospitality. Taste the authentic Malvani cuisines made by local women. They have yummy vegetarian thali too so don’t miss these! Sanman is been seeing a regular crowd from the TV and Film Industry. Many have been here in Sindhudurg for shoot purposes and visit it for yummy delicacies.

Shri Mahalaxmi Bhojanalaya Bhalekar Khanaval

Address – College Rd, Sabniswada, Sawantwadi, Maharashtra 416510

Bhalekar Khanaval is in Sawantwadi and on the way for tourists. They choose to travel via Amboli Ghat. Perfect place for all that Malvani cuisines. It is always super crowded for lunch and dinner! I’ve been here once and it was almost their closing time but we still got ourselves some yummy food. Seafood is love but the fishes here are crispy and turn a tad bit dark as they fry a lot maybe! The fish curry is pure bliss and I would come here again to eat yummylicious food.

Maza Bangla

Address – QMCM+JR8, Gandhinagar, Shiroda, Vengurla, Maharashtra 416518. It is in the Bazarpeth area.

Maza Bangla is quite an old, home eatery in Shiroda. This one is famous and well-known by tourists, locals, especially the medical representatives. We recently visited this and loved the food and hospitality. Parab family owns this place and it is a huge bungalow. The seating is inside the hall area and outside near the door with chairs and tables. The home-cooked fresh food makes you feel lively and you will keep coming back to this place. We took a Chicken Thali and a Surmai Thali. The picture says it all! The chicken had boiled egg in it, the thali had good proportion for every single dish. Finish the meal with Sindhudurg’s essential solkadhi.
