Okra or Bhindi, a vegetable that we savor 🙂 We can have this any time and anywhere! We can relish bhindi in any form and love eating new varieties. I keep trying various techniques and post them on the blog for my readers. This is a quick crispy okra recipe and can be made by anyone who has never cooked food.
Ingredients – Fine long slitted okra/bhindi, turmeric, cumin powder, red chili powder, freshly grated ginger and garlic, salt, cornflour, water.
Preparation – Add all ingredients to okra and mix it well. As per the quantity of bhindi use little water just to coat them well.
In a Kadai or pan add little oil and shallow fry okra/bhindi. On medium flame, fry these. Cornflour adds a crispy layer to the bhindi. The star ingredients freshly grated ginger and garlic add a wonderful taste to this quick dish! Serve these hot with homemade pudina chutney or tomato sauce.
