I love being carefree most of the time, but there are a few things that I’m very particular about. I’m going to pen down 3 of them here.
First, it would be seeing mistreatment. This is one of my birth-date traits, but I’m particularly vocal when I see anyone doing wrong or mistreating someone, regardless of their age or gender. I have been the same since I was a kid, and I even try to stay the same person. I even try to make people aware of stray dogs or animals in general. Hitting strays is wrong on so many levels, and I hate it when people choose violence to show their supremacy.
Second is conversation. I hate when people stay silent. I understand some of them choose to stay silent or speak less, but I’m totally the opposite, and I live to talk and converse with everyone. Having said that, people who never utter a word, even when guests arrive at home, are the biggest red flag. Matlab aapke ghar pe log aaye hain and aap baat hi na karo toh kaise hoga? I live for small talk, meaningful conversations, people who talk about anything and everything. Life is so interesting when we have stories to tell. I’m so particular when there is an actual discussion between 3 and one person just chooses silence.
The third one is friends and loved ones. I’m very particular about what kind of people surround around me. I cannot stand a negative person who always gossips and increases the negative aura around. I like to surround myself with positive and happy people. Now I know we can never stay happy 24/7; there are definitely different phases of life. However, I can clearly tell who is truly sad and who is always negative about others and would lower my aura.
One most important thing that I would like to add despite of this article being just to highlight any three would be NO SUGARCOATING. I’m very particular and honest about almost anything. I’m upfront and would communicate even if the person gets offended by it, I’m okay to apologise if that hurts anyone but I just cannot sugarcoat things. I’ve said no to so many collaborations that I received in the last 10 years just because the brand wanted me to talk only good things about their new launch. That’s just me being me!
I’m okay about everything else. But these three are completely non-negotiable and I’m personally particular about. Maybe that’s what “particular” really is: not being difficult everywhere, just being yourself and standing out from the crowd.
